We got our fans from decorfansingapore with amp_design.co ‘s recommendation.
With the ceiling height (after false ceiling) measurements of 2.46M, we went to the showroom and check out what we like and the recommended sizes of the fans. To ensure continuity of the aesthetics and feels to the house, we went with one single style ASER (38’’ & 50’’) Black Dark Oak Decor Fan for all the rooms.
Apart from aesthetics, you may want to understand from the sales rep on the ventilation movement where wind is drawn upwards and propel out and it’s opposite. So it depends on whether you turn on the aircond or just using the fan on its own to cool down the rooms.
Is it even possible to keep the sheets wrinkle free? Would steaming and ironing the sheets be too extra?
We love this Tencel sheets we got from kinu_bedlinen carried by canopyhomesg we got from takashimaya years ago. It gets softer with every wash.
I’ve considered wrinkle-free sheets and read that most wrinkle-free or wrinkle resistant sheets are “finished” with a chemical process to keep them from wrinkling. That chemical process generally includes the use of formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is predominantly used as an embalming fluid. Formaldehyde is also used to make clothing wrinkle-free and stain resistant by either soaking the fabric in formaldehyde or exposing the fabric to formaldehyde gases. Guess I’ll pass on this picture perfect sheets then. Dunno how long will the formaldehyde stays in the fabric even after wash(es) and enough of chemicals in our food that we can’t avoid. No need them on the skin.
𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲:
1) wash them sheets before use.
2) embrace the wrinkles.
3) bring out the iron or handheld steamer if you really want them crisp and smooth. But no need lah....
