Please note that DFSSEA does not provide any installation services with respect to the increasing numbers of customers with contractors to install our products.
You may refer to our support partner regarding installation services. Once you make your purchases online, your stocks will be allocated and you will receive a call in 1-3 working days. Our support partner will liaise with you and provide delivery to your specified address. If you require installation, they will be able to provide professional advice and quote you accordingly. If you need the stocks within the week of buying, indicate a note once you checkout and they will try to expedite your delivery.
As a guide, for basic installation on concrete ceiling less than 3m height, equipped with an existing lighting electrical point, installation is at an exclusive rate of $60-80/ fan. If you happen to purchase more, you can negotiate directly when they call and support you. All installation services done by our support partner are subjected to final quote and will be payable directly to them.
Tip: If you have false ceiling, do ensure your contractor or designer provides the support structure to mount the ceiling fans. Our support partner will be able to do it as well at additional cost.
We strongly suggest for your fans to be installed by our support partner to ensure they are properly installed to function safely. Our support partner will also be supporting your warranty after sales service. If you do engage your own installers, do ensure they install the fans properly as additional service charges may apply if the fan causes undesirable operation to occur.
Warranty Terms
Warranty is borne by our support partner, the pioneers of authorised ceiling fans installations with over 20 years of experience.
All fans under our inventory comes with a warranty of 2 years on parts, and 1 year on-site service in Singapore. The motor has a limited lifetime warranty for 10 years. Warranty on products purchased from our store will be fulfilled by our support partner and will commence with reference to your respective order receipt date subjected to their Terms & Conditions.
Selection of Distributors
At DFSSEA, we pride ourselves with quality products. Therefore, we only carry recognised distributor products verified for Singapore use. Please note that we do not carry replica, inferior, imitation, or parallel import sets that may compromise both electrical and mechanical faults not suitable for use in Singapore. All our sets are original and we have a wide variety of fans to choose from, from local recognised suppliers and distributors. If you do have recommendations for quality locally recognised distributors you would like in our store, please do not hesitate to leave us a message as well!
Lights/No Lights Options
At DFSSEA, our fans are equipped with the latest LED energy saving light options with RGB capabilities – there is ambience lighting at 3k, natural day light at 5k, and task lighting at 6k, and additional night light for movies or kids that are afraid of dark. While Stocks Last Availability
DFSSEA works with both commercial and residential developments acquiring stock in bulk purchase programmes and orders. As a result stocks are strictly on a while stocks last basis and limited to online stock availability. With the rise in bulk purchase programmes and varying demands, we will not be able to predict on any future stock availability options for any specific models. So please do get yours while stocks last.
Stock Reservation Period
Once your purchase is successfully made, we can hold your order for up to a maximum period of 3 month(s). However, to encourage better logistics flow, we strongly advise customers to have their fans delivered once they are ready to receive it at their respective address.
Clearance Space Requirements
If you do have recessed false ceiling drop, and/or L Box, please do ensure that you leave at least 15 – 25cm of clearance from the tip of the blades to your ceiling drop, and/or L box. Also, you will need to ensure that once installed, your fan is lower to the ground, than your false ceiling and/or L box in order to ventilate your space more efficiently.
Lighting Shadowing Issues
If you happen to have downlighting in your home, you will most likely need a fan option that is smaller in diameter to avoid shadowing effects when the operation of the fan cuts through the light beam angle of your downlighting. Usually downlighting projects a wide lighting beam angle of 120 – 150 degrees.
To ensure that shadowing does not occur, please ensure that you leave at least 15 – 25cm of clearance from the tip of the blades to your downlighting depending on the project beam angle of your lighting. If you happen to have downlighting on your false ceiling, usually, you will just need to gauge a distance of 10-15cm away from your false ceiling and/or L Box.
Ceiling Height Issues
DFSSEA offers the widest variety of designer fans that is suitable for ceiling height below 3m in height, regardless of concrete or false ceiling. This is usually applicable to HDB and EC apartments. However, some exclusive apartment builds such as penthouses, suites and landed properties may require customised rod length to be advised by our support partner.
The average height to install your fans is at 2.74m, a distance of 8-9ft, measured from the lowest point of the fan to your floor level. However, the installation of fans can still be done with a minimum ceiling height of 2.3m with a limited inventory collection such as the AAE3 and FRH3 series of fans suitable for low ceiling applications.

Once we receive your payment, we can hold your product(s) for a maximum period of three months but it is advisable that you get the product(s) soon.
Under an exclusive agreement with our support partners and courier services, orders originating from www.dfssea.com are packaged with a delivery and processing fee of SGD1 per fan to a single location within Singapore. Additional charges may apply for variations such as multiple locations delivery.

Return Policy
3 Days Return Policy
Applies only for item(s) purchased that has a manufacturing defect or damage caused by delivery, you may return it to us within 3 days of the date you received it.
The value of the returned product(s) will be credited to you in the form of store credits, unless otherwise stated.
Our Logistics Team will contact you to schedule for the collection.

Terms & Conditions
In order to successfully get your refund on your purchased product, the following conditions has/have to be met:
- Customer must provide a photo of the defect(s) within 3 days from receipt of delivery/collection through email.
- The purchased product cannot be in an unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.
- The purchased product cannot be used or installed.
- The original packaging of the product must be in resealable condition.
- Item(s) has/have to be in sealed original packaging.
- Returning fee has to be incurred by the customers, if any.
- The 3-Day Return Policy is strictly non-applicable to items marked as “Sale”, “Promotion”, “Display Item”, “Customised Order” and items sold at discounted rates lower than the original listed retail price.
After 7 Days from Receipt of Delivery/Collection
Logistic is a hard cost we incur from our collection to returning procedures. If you decide to return the item after 7 days, your request will be subjected to management approval on a case by case basis.
Our Logistics Team will contact you to schedule for the collection. We will only begin the refund process after we collect the returned item(s).
All refunds will take 14 working days to process and will be issued in the form of a credit back to the original method of payment.
However, DFSSEA reserves the rights to change the mode of refund.
Exchange Policy
We are happy to offer exchanges prior to delivery if the following conditions are met. It is also a must to fill in the exchange form in order for us to process.
– You can only exchange for a product value of equivalent or higher value*
– Your name and order number must be provided to fans@decorfansea.com at least 3 days before arranged delivery date
– Product(s) has/have to be in sellable condition in its original packaging
– Product(s) does/do not fall under non-exchangeable category (refer to list below)
Terms & Conditions
*Exchanges for items of a lower value is possible but we will not be able to refund the balance in cash or store credit.
– Valid for one-time exchange only
– Customers have to bear the cost of shipping products back to our headquarters, if any. If a second exchange needs to be done, customers have to pay $35 for standard courier fee (for delivery).
– Non-exchangeable items include items that are already delivered or scheduled within 24 hours of delivery
– There is strictly no exchange on items marked as “Sale”, “Promotion”, “Display Item”, “Customised Order” and items sold at discounted rates lower than the original listed retail price.
Cancellation Policy
Please note that we strictly do not provide for cancellation of orders. If done so in granted special circumstances, cancellation of orders will be refunded in store credit, or in store vouchers only unless otherwise stated.
In an event that you will need to cancel your order, please notify us via emailing fans@decorfansea.com for us to process this request, within 24 hours from the moment the order confirmation email is sent. Our Management will then be able to make a decision if the request for cancellation is a valid request based on the following terms and conditions.
The terms and conditions have to be met as below:
- The purchased product cannot be in an unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.
- The purchased product cannot be used, installed and delivered.
- The purchased product must still be in its sealed original packaging.
- Returning delivery fee of $35 has to be incurred by the customers if he/she wishes to opt for the collection service from our 3PL to deliver back to us.
